Find It. Fix It.

Leak Detection

Advanced acoustic, pressure, and dye-test leak detection — locate the leak precisely before it becomes a structural issue.

Acoustic Leaktronics Gear
Non-Invasive

Non-destructive leak location using Leaktronics acoustic gear, pressure testing, and dye verification — plus the repair in one call.

Signs your pool is leaking

Water level drops more than 1/4 inch per day. Water bill spiked without other explanation. Cracks in the deck near the pool. Air in the pump basket. Algae that keeps coming back. Wet spots in the yard near the equipment pad.

Why it is worth locating precisely

A leak that runs for months erodes soil under the shell and decking, drives up water bills, and can ultimately crack the structure. Finding it precisely means we dig in one spot, not ten — saving thousands in demolition.

How our process works

We start non-invasively — visual, dye, and acoustic. We isolate lines with pressure testing to confirm which plumbing run is losing pressure. Then we mark the location precisely and walk you through the repair before we start.

Every detail, handled.

Acoustic detection

Professional Leaktronics equipment pinpoints pressure-line leaks without destroying decking.

Pressure testing

Isolated pressure testing on suction, return, and main drain lines to confirm exactly which line is leaking.

Dye verification

Shell, skimmer, light niche, and tile leaks located visually with dye to confirm the finding before repair.

Non-destructive approach

We locate before we dig. Save your deck, your cage, and your landscaping from unnecessary demolition.

Repair in one visit

Most leaks we locate, we repair the same visit. You do not wait for a second contractor.

Written report

You get a written report with the leak location, repair scope, and photos — useful for insurance claims too.

Our process.

01

Visual inspection

Check shell, tile, skimmer, lights, equipment pad, and deck for obvious signs. This resolves a surprising number of cases.

02

Pressure test

Isolate each plumbing line and pressure-test. The line that will not hold pressure is the one with the leak.

03

Acoustic location

Leaktronics acoustic gear pinpoints the leak within inches along the leaking line — no guesswork, no overdig.

04

Dye confirmation

Dye test at the suspected point confirms the leak visually before we open anything up.

05

Repair

Targeted repair with minimal demolition. Pressure-test again after the fix to verify the leak is gone.

Common questions.

How much does leak detection cost?
A typical detection visit is priced as a flat fee that covers visual, dye, pressure, and acoustic testing. If we proceed with the repair on the same visit, the detection fee is often credited toward the repair.
Can you find leaks without tearing up my deck?
Yes — that is the entire point of professional detection. We locate precisely first with non-destructive tools, then open up only the exact spot needed for the repair.
How much water loss indicates a leak?
More than 1/4 inch of loss per day beyond evaporation is usually a leak. Bucket test first: float a bucket of water next to the pool and compare drop rates over 24 hours.
Do you repair what you find?
Yes, in almost every case. We repair plumbing, skimmer, light niche, and shell leaks ourselves so you do not have to call a second contractor.

My experience with Mike from Sunseeker rebuilding my decking and pool cage after hurricane Milton was outstanding. He was responsive, timely, and had a great crew. Highly recommend.

They were so professional and their team of workers did an amazing job! I had a sketch of what I wanted the pool and spa to look like and when they were finished it was even more beautiful than what I envisioned. I highly recommend!
