Remodel & Refresh

Pool Renovation

Transform a tired pool into a modern retreat — new finishes, efficient equipment, updated tile and decking, and smart automation.

Full and partial renovations that give existing pools a second life — premium finishes, efficient equipment, and fresh design.

When to renovate vs. replace

If your pool shell is structurally sound, renovation almost always beats tear-out. Most pools built in the 90s and 2000s are excellent candidates — the bones are good, the surfaces and equipment just have to catch up to 2026.

What a full renovation includes

Typically: resurface the interior with a premium pebble or quartz finish, replace waterline tile and coping, upgrade to a variable-speed pump and LED lighting, and refresh decking or screen enclosure as needed. Many homeowners also convert to salt and add automation.

Post-hurricane rebuilds

After Hurricane Ian, we rebuilt decks, cages, and pools across the coast. If your pool took storm damage, we can assess structural integrity, document for insurance, and rebuild to current code — often with improvements along the way.

Every detail, handled.

Premium interior finishes

pebble, quartz, or glass bead finishes built to last and feel incredible underfoot.

Energy-efficient equipment

Variable-speed pumps, LED lighting, heat pumps, and automation that cut operating costs.

Modern tile & coping

Fresh waterline tile and coping stone that instantly make the whole pool feel new.

Deck & lanai refresh

Travertine, pavers, or refinished concrete — plus screen enclosure repair and outdoor kitchen updates.

Saltwater conversion

Softer feel, less chlorine handling, and lower long-term maintenance. Popular swap during a renovation.

Smart automation

Control lights, pumps, heater, and water features from your phone — modern pool automation.

Assessment
01

Assessment

We inspect the shell, plumbing, equipment, and structure. You get an honest report of what must change, what could change, and what is fine as-is.

Scope & design
02

Scope & design

We scope the renovation — finishes, tile, equipment, decking. You approve materials and a fixed schedule.

Drain & prep
03

Drain & prep

Drain the pool, remove old finish and tile, and prep the shell for new material. Equipment comes out for the upgrade.

New surfaces & equipment
04

New surfaces & equipment

Install new tile and coping, lay the premium interior finish, and mount the new efficient equipment pad.

Startup & finish
05

Startup & finish

Fill, startup the new finish per manufacturer spec, balance chemistry, and walk you through the new equipment.

Common questions.

How long does a pool renovation take?
Most full renovations take 4–8 weeks depending on scope, weather, and inspection timing. Resurface-only projects can finish in 2–3 weeks.
What does a renovation cost?
Resurface-only renovations typically start around $10k. Full renovations with new tile, equipment, and decking range from $25k to $75k+ depending on size and scope.
Can you match a specific color or style?
Yes. We carry the major premium tile and finish lines, and we can bring physical samples to your home so you are not guessing from a website.
Should I convert to saltwater during the renovation?
Most of our renovation clients do. It is dramatically easier to switch during a renovation than after. The feel is softer, chemical handling is simpler, and operating cost is lower.
